Summer is here, and we are so ready for it! There are quite a few items on this list, but I don't want to miss anything this summer. It was a long winter!
The reason I publish ours is that perhaps it will inspire you to make one, remind you of something you meant to add to yours and hold me accountable and keep us on target for checking off a number of these.
This list was compiled with the help of the boys and the husband. It's a family effort because we all have different ideas of what summer looks like, but we also have a number of family traditions on this list that we all agree upon.

Have a Neighborhood Ice Cream Social{Oops! Missed one...Twins Game!!}
It may look like a lot, but this is the season we can go and do and spend lots of time outside without the restraints of school and deadlines! I fly by the seat of my pants and can pack a beautiful, fun, nutritious picnic and beach bag in just a few minutes and be on the go.
And I don't have to watch the clock worrying about bed times or homework or game times or dinner time. If we decide to run out and get ice cream on a hot, muggy night at 9 pm, we can!
In MN, you learn to live the summer months outside as much as possible, soaking up the sun and enjoying the lush green trees and grass and beautiful flowers while avoiding mosquitoes, ticks and the overabundance of other bugs and spiders that comes along with the summer. And God's gift to us after spending months wrapped in darkness and snow and cold, daylight until 9:30 pm during the summer!
Now, we may not get all of these items checked off; and that's OK, but we are sure to have a great summer. So, what's on your summer bucket list? Over and out...
Anna
Wow! I'm dizzy just reading your goals and I don't have kids! Good luck! What fun!
