The other day while I was waiting to pick up my son from preschool, I spied a student driver in the parking lot attempting to parallel park between cones. I remembered how much I hated drivers' education, especially the parallel parking. And I whispered a little "Thank You!" That got me to thinking about all the things I've done that I'm so glad I don't have to do again.
These are my top 5 Things I'm Glad to Have Behind Me:
-
Driver's Education. I studied; I learned; I practiced; I passed; and I made a pact with myself that I'd never parallel park again; and I haven't.
-
Child Birth. I have two beautiful children. I got through child birth {with the help of epidurals}. And now, I'm done.
-
The first day of school. Any kind; of any level. I ALWAYS hated the first day of school; from Pre-K through Law School, I dreaded this day each year.
-
Those awkward romantic firsts. You know what I'm talking about.
-
Taking the Bar Exam. I took it; I passed it; I was sworn in. Done.
What are your top 5 things you're glad you never have to do again? Over and out...
Anna
I agree with the parallel parking! I haven't done it since drivers ed too!
I also agree with child birth--done after 2.

I am a little proud to say that I actually parallel parked just this last summer in downtown Des Moines (and did it beautifully the first try I might add!!) It had been many years since I had last done it, don't even remember when) So you might try it sometime, you may be selling yourself short!! :)
