I agree completely! I have been on the road to a chemical free home since I had my first child 5.5 years ago. It is a long process and takes a lot of thought. We even considered it when building our home making sure to use low or no toxins. The other thing people should consider is personal hygiene products. Anything that can be absorbed through the skin, (like shampoo, soap, lotion or makeup) should be looked at as well. I think the hardest part is all of this costs more, so it is a commitment to health that you have to make, and maybe cut back in other areas of your life. I'm not quite there yet, but on my way. I have cancer in my family, so if I can do some preventive care for my family, that's what I'm going for.
