~ From Billboard with Suicide Hotline Ad on I-40
The question "Are you OK?" is something we should be asking ourselves, our spouses, our kids, our friends and family members often. It's such a simple question, but in this age of go, go, go and impersonal electronic communications it can be something that is pushed aside or dismissed altogether.
Sometimes we need to take inventory of our own thoughts and feelings and give ourselves a pep talk or get rid of extra baggage holding us back, etc. Our family members and friends need to know we care about them and are there to talk with them or simply listen.
So, take the time to ask someone "R U OK?" today. It might just make all the difference in someone's day!
It's Friday…. Go eat some chocolate. It's good for you, and you deserve it!

Nota Bene: I hold these truths to be self-evident, that all parents and kids are not created equally, but are wholly individual in personality and style. Regardless of these differences, the basic needs of love, patience and support remain constant. Here are the weekly affirmations, tips and reminders. Unless otherwise noted, these are entirely my opinion. Take them with a grain of salt, or not!
It might save a life.
