The Scoop
To the Newbies: If you are feeling brave and confident, go for it. To the Experienced Crowd: Have you ever abandoned a blog; or even thought about abandoning a blog? Why do people abandon blogs? Lack of time or interest; or maybe both?
Who knows, but it IS hard work and takes dedication, regardless of whether a person blogs as a career, to promote a fledgling business, to keep Grandma updated on Junior's growth, personality and cutie pie pictures or for the sheer reason of writing a developing a readership. I spend at minimum 30 hours per week on Motherly Law and that number doesn't count my time spent on Twitter & Facebook. It takes dedication, perseverance and love of writing to keep going day after day.
This information will be relevant for the next several weeks of posts. I'll be referring to it. Don't forget to stop by yesterday's Giveaway post to enter to win $52 worth of fabulous skin care products from Mary Kay Cosmetics! Over and out...

I blog for my kids...and only my kids...
At the end of each year I make a hardcover book out of my blog posts for that year and one day will present each of my kids with a whole stack of books! It will be their 'scrapbook' of sorts...
The friendships I have made and the generous give aways that I have been blessed with? Icing on the cake!
