So, I was shooting from the hip when I said I would post on the power of a name; naming for success, etc. I think it's an interesting idea and I have found some fascinating information on it, but it's going to take a bit more intensive research than I first thought. I will be working on this post and present it to you on Thursday.
Meanwhile here is a link to a fabulous post or rather a 3 part series of posts by Laura Wattenberg from The Baby Name Wizard on names, urban legends and racism. Jen, a very supportive ML reader and friend of mine, pointed it out to me yesterday. I think there's much to be learned from these posts.
If you have never visited Baby Name Wizard site check it out. There are great resources here for names, history, popularity, etc. When searching for my own Darlings' names, I loved graphing the various names here.
I will return on Thursday. I hope you do too. So far, my research for this post runs the gamut from astrology sites to ancient history to job hunting sites; interesting stuff. Over and out…

This was really fun. I searched for a name (should we ever need it! ;) that ends in "n" and was two syllables. I got lots of new ideas! Thanks for allowing me to procrastinate work a little more...
