OK, I'm switching things up again! I thought I would go with Wordless Wednesday (well, at least fewer words) and post some of my photos. Then, on Thursday, I promise I will post my top 10 or so things I learned in New York.
Big, Beautiful, Red, Roses from DH upon arrival at my hotel. So thoughtful!
Il Gattopardo, the leopard. Absolutely stellar Italian food and service. Recommended by the Concierge. She was spot-on.
.
Yep, that's right. A Magnolia's Bakery box. You know what's inside! If you don't, it would benefit you to find out.
There it is! A little luscious piece of heaven! I am not kidding! The white cake is actually my favorite too - not chocolate!
Bus Tour Salesperson for the tours we did. They have really phenominal tour guides. Of course, my mom got a chance to do more tours than I did.
Upon reviewing my notes and memory, I really have no idea what buildling this is. Regardless, it is beautiful architechure.
A fruit stand in Chinatown. Beautiful.
Lemon tarts in a bakery in Chinatown. Aren't they beautiful. I don't even like pie.
An Italian deli in Little Italy. It smelled divine: cured meats, yeasty breads and brined olives.
Central Park. Positively surreal. An amazing native oasis in a concrete world.
Zeus on Rockefeller Center. An impressive address. Wise words.
MOMA (Museum of Modern Art). The window looking out onto 5th Ave and the Sculpture Garden. Lovely.
And finally... St Patrick's Cathedral. Exquisite. Calming. Amazing.
And that's it until tomorrow. Over and out...
